• Start to organise leavers ’ events and coordinate gifts , allowing plenty of time to gather photos and quotes from staff and students
• Host your Mother ' s Day events ( afternoon tea , secret gift shop ) and Easter activities
• Run a book swap in line with World Book Day
EVENTS :
• 7th : World Book Day
• 10th : Mother ' s Day
• 21st - 27th : Shakespeare Week

• Check your summer fair plan to ensure things are on track
• Consider adverse weather contingency plans for any outdoor events
• Apply for any necessary licences for your summer fair , such as a TENs license which is obtained from your local council

• 9th : Eid al-Fitr
• 24th : Earth Day

• If the school is running a session for new students in September , make sure someone from your PTA attends to introduce and answer questions
• Recruit volunteers to fill any skill gaps or open positions
• Print flyers outlining what you do and explaining how to get involved
• If you ’ re planning to host a raffle at the fair , order your raffle tickets now

• 25th May – 2nd June : National Children ' s Gardening Week

• If your financial year runs Sept-Aug , file your Charity Commission annual return by the end of June
• If your school is hosting a sports day , have a stand and sell refreshments
• Run a Father ’ s Day fundraiser e . g a football match , gift shop
• Order cash floats for summer activities

• 1st - 7th : National Volunteers ’ Week
• 16th : Father ' s Day

TO DO :
• Send out a communication thanking all involved for their support and detailing the amount raised at PTA events
• Finalise plans for events to welcome new families at the start of the new academic year
• Set up a meeting with the school for the new term
• Remind parents to use cashback platforms to contribute to fundraising during the summer break
EVENTS :
• 1st – 14th : Wimbledon
• 26th : Summer Olympic Games
