Later this year , Parentkind will publish the 2024 National Parent Survey , one of the UK ' s biggest parent polls , to reveal what parents really think .

PTA Launchpad
We ’ re incredibly excited to announce our partnership with The Barratt Foundation for Parentkind ’ s PTA Launchpad . PTA Launchpad will help to establish new PTAs in disadvantaged communities , building on our work to enhance the educational environment for children across the UK .
PTA Launchpad will put specialist Community Advisers on the ground to support schools and parents as they form successful PTAs . An incredible £ 25,000 from The Barratt Foundation has allowed Parentkind to part-fund the first specialist Community Adviser in the North West of England , who will support 15 to 20 new PTAs in the region .

Have you made a rough plan of your events for the year to put in the school calendar ?
The National Parent Survey is conducted by YouGov with a sample size of 5,500 parents of children aged 4 to 18 . This year ’ s survey will present the opinions from parents on subjects such as the education their children receive , how parents are coping with a cost-of-living crisis , how much time their children spend on screens and much more across 45 questions .
When the National Parent Survey is launched in the autumn , it will be published on nationalparentsurvey . com . We will also email a copy to Parentkind members as we share what it ’ s really like to be a parent in 2024 .
