Grants can make a huge difference to what your PTA can achieve. Here are a few pointers to make sure your application has the best chance of success
1Finding a grant
Your community is a great place to start when looking for grants. From supermarket token schemes to donations from small businesses and societies, there are loads of fundraising opportunities waiting in your local area.
Other organisations you should check for grants include:
• The National Lottery
• FundEd
• GOV. UK

2Are you a good match?
Before applying, thoroughly read the criteria to check that the grant:
• Supports PTAs
• Backs the type of activity you’ re looking to fund
• Is offering enough money to cover your project and, if not, you’ re able to cover the rest
• When you need to apply by – grants can take a bit of time to put together
• How to apply – most grants need to be submitted online, but some can be sent in the post

Top tip!
