What ’ s the main purpose of the role ?

The Raffles , Tombola and Lottery Officer is the go-to person for these very popular games , which are staples for most ( if not all !) PTAs . From drumming up interest and outlining the rules to promotion and distributing prizes , this role is responsible for the smooth-running of these much-loved fundraising initiatives . This role is quite fluid and can overlap with many other responsibilities within the PTA , but ultimately the Raffles , Tombola and

Lottery Officer gives their school community an opportunity to win exciting prizes , all while enticing them to donate to the PTA .

What are the responsibilities ?

• Basic understanding of gambling laws

• Understanding and applying to the licenses required

• Outlining the various rules for participants

• Sourcing tickets ( if buying paper tickets )

• Sourcing prizes
