Happy new year ! What an exciting term autumn turned out to be , with nearly £ 5.8 million raised with Asda ’ s Cashpot for Schools , giving a huge bump in fundraising to more than 17,000 PTAs , parent councils and schools . We take a look at what this has meant to Parentkind members ( page 40 ), including an interview with a fellow Parentkind PTA who hosted Joe Wicks for the Cashpot for Schools launch !

We were also delighted to bring you No Cold
Child in collaboration with FatFace and Decathlon . This cause is very close to Parentkind ’ s heart , as we work hand-in-hand with our partners and PTAs to help the children and families within our school communities who need it most . With more than 10,000 coats distributed , parents have shared that their children are more able to learn , play and socialise with others , as well as , heartbreakingly , stay warmer at home . Thank you for your enthusiasm for this initiative , we look forward to bringing you more support programmes like this in the future .

The Parents Lottery ( page 22 ) is a new way for you to fundraise for your school , giving you a whopping 60 % of every ticket sale , with the other 40 % going to prize funds and operational costs .
