Ashmead Primary School, Deptford South East London held a sponsored Fun Run for children and grown-ups at the Alex Yee Ladywell Arena- a joyful, sun-filled community event.

We chose SuperKind because it’ s one of the only fundraising platforms designed specifically for children, making it easy and empowering for them to get involved. The site was simple to use, with class pages showing collective progress towards our goal. The children loved seeing their efforts make a difference and the results were incredible! We raised over £ 16,000 towards our new playground, smashing all previous totals. SuperKind made it fun, motivating, and effortless.

In May 2025, Buckingham Park Primary ran their first sponsored event, £ 25 for 2025, challenging each child to raise £ 25 by taking part in year group activities such as a scootathon, drawathon and moveathon.

We wanted an easy, cash-free way to collect sponsorship and found SuperKind. I realised that this was going to be amazing for us. It was so simple to set up and lots of families got on board with creating their own pages. I loved how it was so simple to just send the links to wider family. The best part was that the families took ownership of collecting their money and this wasn’ t the responsibility of the PTA.

If I had questions, my emails to SuperKind were always immediately responded to and their customer service was excellent.

This was such an easy win for us and has been our highest earning event to date- almost £ 11,000 raised and with really minimal effort from the PTA. I won’ t hesitate to use SuperKind again and highly recommend it to everyone.
