As we approach the end of the school year, it is the perfect time to celebrate you and your fellow parent volunteers’ achievements over the last 12 months with the National PTA Awards 2025! With nine award categories for all types of PTAs and a chance to win up to £ 2,000, everything you need to know to enter can be found on page 20.

The summer term is also time to say farewell to your Year 6s or Year 11s. If you’ re wanting to make this time really special for them, we have some celebration ideas for you on page 31.

There’ s a lot to celebrate, but there’ s also still a lot to do until the summer break is here! This issue has lots of fundraising tips to help you make the most of the warmer weather, such as our quick guide to barbecues( page 11), how to run your very own frozen Fridays( page 18) and ideas for summer fundraisers that aren’ t summer fairs( page 49).
