Our 2024 National PTA of the Year Award winner

Friends of Glenfall School Association

“ One of our PTA members has a background in healthcare, and they highlighted how important it is for the school community to know how to deal with a medical emergency. We found two ways where our PTA could have an impact. Firstly, by providing our Year 6 pupils with First Aid skills to take with them both to the next stage of their education and into our community. Secondly, by ensuring our defibrillator was accessible to the community and by raising awareness of basic lifesaving skills.
These activities have increased the number of people with essential
First Aid skills, ensuring more members of our local community can help those in need, as well as raising awareness of the defibrillator network and how to deliver lifesaving CPR.”
Rebecca Mustow, Chair
