Running your PTA

The power of local PTA meet‐ups

Are you curious about how other PTAs are run, or simply want to meet people who know what it’ s like to juggle raffle prizes, risk assessments and WhatsApp groups alongside day-to-day life? Then come to one of our Parentkind meet-ups!
“ It’ s great to hear everyone’ s ideas and how they make it work.”
Our meet-ups are for all PTA members, whether you’ re part of a long-running committee or just starting out.
Hosted by our Community Engagement Executives, these informal chats are held in Yorkshire and the Humber, the North West, West Midlands and Scotland. They’ re perfect for swapping stories, sharing your proudest wins and talking honestly about the trickier bits too. No pressure – just practical support and plenty of,“ We tried that too!” moments.
local suppliers and crowd-pleasing prizes to summer fair must-haves, be prepared to come away with lots of tried-and-tested ideas. Because no PTA should feel like they ' re doing it alone.

Can’ t join us in person?
We also host regular meet-ups and webinars online. And if there’ s a topic you’ d love us to explore, let us know!
These gatherings are also an opportunity to find out more about Parentkind membership benefits. If you’ ve ever wondered whether you’ re making the most of what’ s available, this is the perfect place to find out.
But more than anything, these meet-ups are all about connection. They’ re a safe, supportive space to ask questions( even the ones you think you should know), celebrate what’ s working and pick up those golden nuggets of advice only fellow volunteers can offer. From favourite
